Barry “Bdog” Hancock has had warbirds and aviation in his blood since he was a kid. With nearly 3500 hours of flight experience, most of that in warbirds, Barry holds a Commercial license and is Instrument Rated. He has flown dozens of warbird aircraft including the Stearman, T-6, T-28, Yak-50, Yak-52, L-29, L-39, CJ-6A, and many more and currently flies a low-level aerobatic routine in the T-6. Additionally, he is an active aerobatic competitor in the Pitts S2C, and also a formation instructor pilot holding a Flight Lead rating with the North American Trainers Association. Barry has a passion for sharing this type of flying with people and also gives back to the aviation and military community by volunteering with the Commemorative Air Force, performing missing man formations, and writing articles for various flying publications. Bdog is one of the few civilian pilots to fly in formation with military F/A-18 Hornets and has also lead a formation flight of 26 aircraft at the world famous Airventure air show in Oshkosh, WI. He has also had articles published in several aviation related publications, and regularly speaks to youth and special interest groups about making dreams come true through our unique gifts and talents. He and his wife Michelle are the proud parents of 6 appropriately troublesome children.
